Freeze

When I'm with you, I wish I could make time stop,
And take a picture of our world, and begin to crop
Out anything that isn't amazing, wonderful, or s'well.
Like noisy neighbors, bad drivers, and savage children that yell.

Our life would be photogenic, giving others a feeling of dread
That their lives were simply not as good as ours (though it may start to get to one's head).
Envy may be used to describe how they would start to feel,
Realizing that our happy lives are genuine and real.

We can't help sometimes that the rest of the world is worse off than us,
But that doesn't keep us from having one another, which is a definite plus.
Together we're one, and we'll never be alone,
And all the problems stop when we're together at home.
