Ages ago in a land far away,
A girl fell into a slumber and still sleeps this day,
And some prince charming tried to wake her with a kiss,
But since she's still sleeping, I guess his lips missed.
I have this beauty who sleeps every night,
And to see her slumber, I know everything's all right.
And she's more beautiful than any Briar Rose,
Or Talia, or Aurora, or Rosebud, or however the story goes.
Every morning she awakes with or without true love's lips
Though ever time she DOES, my heart skips.
I'm convinced of two things: I have a sleeping beauty do,
And I don't need a spinning wheel to make her dreams come true.
