The Other Amber

In the other world, my wife is mean,
And doesn't let me do my things,
But in this world, my wife is nice,
Even if I make her eat plain, old rice.

In the other world, she never thinks of me,
Being as selfish as selfish can be.
But in this world, I come first,
Be it best or be it worst.

In the other world, tears never end,
And life is a battle we must defend,
But in this world, things are better, it seems,
As we're both playing on the same team.
