The Late Opression

If feelings bad get too great,
I'll be there for you
To help you clear off that plate
And keep you from turning blue.

I'll be there for you beside
And in every way I'll try
To steady the torrents, the ebb of tide,
That wave the splashes of waves a cry.

And when you're feeling down and out,
Too low to face the world,
I'll brush away those shades of doubt
And pull back its cowl unfurled.

Too many times we must go alone
And face the giants tall,
But I shall make your company my own
And never let you fall.
