Time and Place

There is a time we have called now,
And we don't have much time to spare;
Even though I'd rather have an infinite amount of time
To spend with you, it just isn't there.

And there's a place we have called here,
And it's where we both will live
Together, being happy
Giving all that we can give.

We should spend our time wisely
(For that's why now's called the present,
'Cause it's a gift that we're given,
And one we shouldn't resent.)

And we should make our now and our here
However short or long they be
Feel like never ending moments
On this side of eternity.
