Masked Marvel

She doesn't need to wear a mask
To always save my day,
And you'll be hard pressed to find a cape
Around her shoulders, the wind to sway.

She's still a super heroine,
Able to perform great feats,
And make the world a better place
Making safer streets.

She doesn't have a moniker,
Or even a battle cry,
Or a weakness or a nemesis,
Or a laser-shooting eye,

But she has something better
Than the speed of a shooting dart.
She has the greatest thing I could give her,
And that's my loving heart.
