Take me up to those astral bodies,
And have a cup of tea with me.
It will be cold up in the sky,
So make sure to bring sugar and cream.
There's no gravity way up there,
No drag or pull to get you down,
And because of that fact, you might like to know,
There's never a reason to frown.
We could watch the sunrise there,
Or watch the rise of a million other stars,
Rising before their respective worlds,
Blazing with their fires.
Or we could simply watch each other,
In our private place, we'd be.
So take me up to those astral bodies,
And have a cup of tea with me.
