The Things I Do (For You)

Would I slither over a mile
Just to see my sweet wife smile?
Or perhaps I'd fly to the moon
Just to make my baby swoon.

I'd cook the most uncookable meal,
Or ride on a chariot with a squarish wheel,
Just so you would know how I feel:
You and me, baby, we're the real deal.

Would I solve a problem most challenging
And find rare items on a hunt most scavenging
Just so you would have a clue
That I'm not me without my you.

I'd read the most unreadable book,
And give the hardest puzzles a second look
And teach Shakespearean grammer to a parliament of rook
To show my love to my heart's theiving crook.
