Epic Flail

I'm sorry for when life
Gives us the epic fail,
And makes my wife
Feel like she's been given a shovel and a pail.

And then directed towards
The nearest lying stables,
And instructed to do something
She's not willing, nor ables.

A herculean task, she's given
And then she's expected to do it on her own,
But that's not the case she's livin',
'Cause she's got someone to help carry on.

And in the end, we've got each other
Through the thick and thin,
And it will be that way forever,
Just like it's always been.
