Four Day Week

It's the start, again, of another week,
But this week's a little different than the rest.
I wouldn't go as far as to say the rest are "bleak,"
But I have a feeling that this week will be one of the best.

For you see, it's the fourth of Ju-lee,
And the fourth happens to be on a Saturday.
Which means that my work, not being a jerk,
Gives me a break one day before Caturday.

So, with a four day week, I am bound to find
That with this week, the fates are kind.
And most importantly, I get to spend
My vacation time with my very best friend.

Another advantage of a four day week
Is that you still get five days pays,
And then there's that extra-special bonus
That you get a weekend that spans three days.
