The Nicest Person You'll Meet

Many people are undeserving
Of the treatment they get after underserving
The nicest of people: sweet, little Ambz,
Who treats everybody with the same respect she commands.

It is quite unfair, though, how the respond,
For it is most definitely not in kind.
Some will make a response rude when they place it.
Others, well, they're just tacit.

But rude or silent, the fact remains
That the person they deal with only wants mutual gains,
And wants everybody to be happier,
But there's nobody around to make a happy her.

And that's where I come in,
With a sweet, little word and a big, dumb grin.
And I say something like, "You're the true champ,
And I'm glad to have such an ally resident in my camp."
