Diamonds are Forever, and a Girl's Best Friend

I have wondered and pondered things like De Beers,
Who keeps, artificially, diamonds from being everywheres.
If they would lighten up, and let us have bling,
Though they'd make less money, the world would have reason to sing.

One thing I'd like to suggest is diamond teeth.
Stronger than enamel, even if just a sheath.
You could literally bite through a lot,
And your teeth wouldn't be as susceptible to rot.

There wouldn't be any cavities if our teeth were carbon lattices,
And going to the dentist would be for cosmetic statuses,
Because our teeth would be strong and shiny
And able to withstand the travesties tiny.

What a world it would be if our teeth were so strong,
And they'd last us our lives, and even our deaths, long.
And we would never find shady dentists who importune
That our non-diamond teeth must also cost a fortune.
