When I say "To death I will ever love,"
I do not mean unto death, but longer.
For death is too short for life not above,
And eternity makes the love stronger.
Eternity is the true length of care,
If ever measured in ways known truly;
Always stretching onwards with a dare,
It fulfills its metric more so than duly.
What benefits a man to love 'til death,
Or to be loved until the sun goes down?
Were it better for a man to cease breath,
Or for a king to fling away his crown.
True love can be found near, and not too far
When it is spelled A-M-B-E and R.
