When you feel the need to scream,
Let it out.
If your life's not what it should seem,
Let it out.
If your family's being bad,
Let it out.
If the cats make you less than glad,
Let it out.
When you hold it in your chest,
The bitter feelings do the rest,
And soon you feel like a chocolate hare:
Saccharine without, but full of air.
So if the world's giving you the finger,
Let it out.
And if those miseries like to linger,
Let it out.
When obnoxious kids are ruining your day,
Let it out.
Or if you just can't seem to get your way,
Let it out.
You can let it out to me,
And I'll help make you a better yee.
But when I'm not here to hear you spout,
In my absence, let it out.
