Time Warp

If I had a time machine,
I'd take away all your pain.
Every single last dollop
Would never bother you again.

I would travel to the past
And give you all my help
So that you wouldn't ever
Shed a tear or even cry a yelp.

I would show you a nice future,
One that would give you hope,
So that you wouldn't need to feel sad,
Or have any reason to mope.

And I'd continually watch the time stream,
To make sure no new bads befell
So you could have a perfect life
